DEMOCRATS TO PUSH GOYDER TO MARGINAL

Richard Way, well known farmer and computer business operator of Port Vincent, will be the Democrats candidate for the next State Election.

Ian Gilfillan, Democrats State President, announced the result of preselection in Goyder today.

"Richard, Chair of South Australian Farmer’s Federation Community Services Committee, is influential and highly regarded in the family community.

"His experience with wife Jackie, running a successful small business selling computers and software packages with training, has given him a keen insight into the trials of small business in rural South Australia.

"Above all he can represent the young families, and all residents of Goyder, energetically and without fear or favour, as a true Democrat MP.

"I look forward to Richard turning Goyder into a well represented marginal seat, and we all know that gets Government attention," said Mr Gilfillan.

 Ian Gilfillan will be launching Richard Way on the Yorke Peninsula today and both Ian and Richard will be available for comment.
